Ana Fernandez is a Brazilian singer and songwriter, born in Aracaju Sergipe North East of Brazil.

Her parents moved to São Paulo huge metropolis when she was still very young and Ana grew up under the influence of Samba and several other rhymes like Bossa Nova, Baião, Forró, Xaxado, Pop Music, reggae, Carimbó, American Soul, Blues and Jazz.
Ana moved to NYC almost 20 years ago and has sung in legendary place like Zink Bar Jazz Club, SOB’s, Cafe Wha, Shrine Music Words, Nublu,Jazz Forum Diese Onze Jazz Club Montreal Canada and many others.
Ana is joining a book that is being written by music professor at Ramapo College in NJ Mr Mark Gidal, the book is about Jazz and Brazilian music in NYC.
She was a finalist for The Best of Brazil Award in The USA by The High Profile Magnani.
She also was nominated 5 times for The Press Awards a very important award in the US for Brazilian who stand out in various careers.
