Biography
Rie Matsue was born and lives in Tokyo, Japan.
She studied at Tokyo Metropolitan Art High School and at Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Painting, Japanese Painting Course.
She mainly creates watercolor paintings.
Her concept is to look at the time when living creatures are born, grow, and
return to the earth, and to depict the way the various times of life intersect.
She is a member of the Japan Watercolor Society and Japan Modern Naive Art Society. She has been exhibition her works mainly in Tokyo.
